The coloring was easy, but shading was a different matter. For everything except the hair and skin, I used a darker color for shadows, white for highlights, and applied the Smudge tool. For the hair I used Dodge and Burn due to the pink highlights, and for skin I used a darker color for shadows, white for highlights, then applied a Gaussian blur. In fact, it took me nearly ten minutes to get the glossiness of her lips the way I wanted.
This is pretty much the sequel to this: Not only that, but it's also based on these three pieces by ~CaseterMK:
I don't see Daisy being this way. Daisy's adorable. Peach, well... due to the various aspects of her character (numerous "kidnappings", blonde, likes pink, etc.), it is RIDICULOUSLY easy to see her as a bimbo of some sort, and I'm pretty sure there's fanart of her to that effect. Don't get me started on how she acts in Mario Party...
...but anyway, this took me nearly six hours, and it came out fairly well. I do hope you have as much fun enjoying it as I did making it
First off, great shading and highlights on this! You have a good amount of accessories on her that keep the picture balanced and not boring. The color contrast is excellent and really digging her skin tone. It's not always easy to make a darker than usual skin tone look good, so kudos to that.
I don't like to overwhelm people with only compliments so I'd say on the other side of things. The neck is a bit long mainly because of how her shoulders are hunched up so it's a bit awkward. You know how I am with sketch lines but if done light enough and the right color medium you can erase the sketch lines at the end of the coloring and not ruin anything.
Another thing to add is I believe the hair came out pretty much perfect. Thirsty for more!
